I am trying to connect two joysticks (Happ super and T-stick) to my i-pac, first I connected both joysticks to the i-pac and only one worked, then I tryied to connect one to the other and then to the i-pac but with the same result.
Has anybody got two joysticks connected togeather with the i-pac and if so how did you do it.
Also when I run the i-pac test program it says that the p1 joystick is pressed or shorted, does this indicate a problem.
thanks for your help

It is if you aren't pressing it. It sounds like you are having wiring problems.
1) Make sure the ground is only connected to the COM tab (Common) on each microswitch.
2) Make sure the wires from the inputs on the I-PAC are only going to the NO tab (Normally Open) on each microswitch. (Sounds like you have 1 or more going to a NC tab (Normally Closed)).
3) Make sure you have no wires or quick disconnects touching each other.
4) If the first 3 are done, you may have a bad microswitch. Try swapping it out with a different one to verify.

I wire my 8-way and 4 way to the same inputs on my I-pac
If you have an ohm meter use it to verify your wiring. it sounds like you may have wired to the wrong terminals on 1 of the sticks. open up a text editor and see if you are getting any output when the joystick is centered like the cursor is being moved around if you wired to the player 1 inputs or other characters if you used different inputs.
good luck
