Title: What game was this?? It played like.....

trivia question:

anyone know the name of the rpg-like d&d-like arcade game (capcom i think) that has a spellbook on the side that continues to flip pages by itself (the spell you cast is the page the book is currently on - you cannot control the book).  It would be relatively newer (94 or up i would guess)

You might try a search on KLOV for Capcom games.

Sounds like D&D :Tower of Doom (1993)

It also has  a sequel D&D Shadow of mystara (1996), both are great games.

Both were released by capcom

Ahh you guys rock!! GATE OF DOOM it is.. but wizard fire is very similar.. thanks a ton :)
