Hi all,
As this relates more to artwork per se than to software, I thought this forum was a more appropriate location to post.
Is there a vector art program that can import (and preferable export, but not completely necessary) Illustrator files for Linux (or Windows if necessary)? I have no intention of spending US$500 for the real thing, nor do I fancy a 147mb download for the trial version over dialup.
Essentially all I want to do is do my custom Pac-Man CP (http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=20287) in a vector format that I can give back to the community. Using PhotoShop I can print it at 300dpi, but not only would the file be much larger, it wouldn't be a vector image to upload for others.

Hi Zorg,
Thanks for the offer. I'm downloading Skencil (Sketch as it seems to be known now), so I'll see how I go with that, and if I need help, I'll take you up on your offer.
The others don't seem to do .ai files, although maybe I missed it as a feature (Karbon definitely doesn't do the ones I have, as I've already got it installed and tried it).
