I dunno.  I'm a newbie.  But I'm jealous :-)

You gonna rip 'em apart?

No need to rip them apart, they should fit in the cabinets just fine.

Funny you should mention this TV. Its exactly what I'm using in my current cab (just completing it) It works acceptably, but does some times shut itself down right after I turn it on, requiring me to unplug it for a few seconds to reset it. The screen goes blurry a few seconds after you turn it on, almost like its syncing up with the video signal. Its during this time that it sometimes shuts itself off. I have no idea why.

The picture quality is good, IMO and I have no other problems with it. Overall, I really can't complain. I got mine as a display model from BB for $124.

Sounds like you might have purchased a bad one. I've been running test on both of the ones I bought with no problems so far (fingers crossed).

Could be.

As I said, it only happens at start up and not all of the time. Its only a minor annoyance and otherwise, it works perfectly for my needs. I could have something set wrong in the menu and/or it might not like the old TNT II Ultra I'm using for a vid card. I've heard that ATI is pretty much unbeatable for TV out. Now that I have everything else worked out, I'll have to play around with it a little to see if I can work it out.

Another one of these are in strong contention for the monitor in my next cab.

Let me know how your's work out.
