Hey everyone,
Just picked up a sweet Mortal Kombat II cabinet (complete) for a MAME project. I wasn't expecting the video to work, but it did for about 30 seconds before it fritzed. I can boot the game and hear it, but nothing else. My questions are:
What kind of monitor is it? (looks like 25")
How do I know what model it is?
Where can I find schematics?
Does this sound like it's fixable?
Do you think a re-cap would do it?
thanks for any and all suggestions! ;)
Cheers!

Hopefully there should be a label on it, likely on the side.
Where can I find schematics?
As soon as you let us know the two things above (make and model) likely there's schematics downloadable on the 'net
Does this sound like it's fixable?
Depends on what blew. Fuse? Replace the fuse. Anything else? Likely, but depends on what's wrong. Check the fuse first.
Do you think a re-cap would do it?
That's doubtful, I would think.

;D Excellent, thanks for the help! I'll shove that 400 pounder around and check for some numbers
I do know resistor R97 looks all white and sorta burnt.
