These seem pretty cool...I can imagine building 3-D versions of some of my favorite retro gaming characters. Since the blocks are also translucent, it'd be pretty easy to light them up, allowing for some interesting decoration.

My son has these, they are pretty fun. Much smaller than legos, probably not good for really young kids.

Might be kind of cool to make some of the classic characters and use them to decorate an arcade themed room....
Or do like Mr. C mentioned make 4 sided versions, light them up and voila, a Lamp!

First off, on PB's website you can upload a pic and it will tell you what PBs you need to recreate that pic.
There are Lego CAD programs.
