Title: Fixing Plexi glass
Post by: Ted_Striker on June 08, 2004, 12:06:12 am
stumbled on this article on a mod site.  This might help someone fix their arcade cabinet if the monitor plexi gets scratched.

Hope this helps someone

Novus works wonders. I wouldn't have believed it until I tried it.

I had a Frogger mini-coleco tabletop game that had it's screen cleaned with orange-based cleaner. (BAD BAD BAD for plastic based products).  The screen was virtually opaque.

I used just Novus 3 and Novus 2 to buff the plexi (no sanding) and it got out virtually everything.  If I had sanded first I'm sure it would have looked new :)

Novus also removes the opaque tint from control panel buttons and brings back a nice shine to them that lasts... not a temporary film that wipes off.
