Title: Mamewah Newbie help with ZINC

I have read, and read on the site ways to get ZINC to run with mamewah. I tired Butlers exact way in mamewahsetup with negative results as well as playing with howards wrapper. Can someone please walk me through exactly how I do it? I would appreciate it very much.

Post by: Dave Butler on June 06, 2004, 06:07:59 am: I had an e mail from someone that could not get ZINc working with MAMEWah. And we worked out that there may have been something missing from the Configuration of ZINc. He managed to get it working in the end with the help of ZINcFE.

Because ZINCFE writes all the config files for ZINc he had no problems getting ZINc to work with MAMEWAH.

So find a copy of ZINcFE get zinc working with that, then use my page to set up ZINc in MAMEWAH and everything should work ;D

I had ZINcFE set up on my PC before useing MAMEWah. So I didn't have any trouble with it.

Same here, I used a ZiNc FE by Aldo first to configure, and it worked fine after that :)

then zinc? I have zincfe installed and ran it with some games works np..just not sure why it wont run in mamewha

Post by: Dave Butler on June 06, 2004, 03:56:26 pm: There are two Default/Master CFG files that should be in the zinc folder 'zinc.cfg' and 'renderer.cfg'.

I have no idea why it doesn't work.

Has the game list (LST) file been created corectly?
