Title: Can't remember game - shooting bouncing balls causing them to split

There's this game I was playing yesterday that's so much fun, you shoot these big balls that bounce in the air and they split into two smaller balls. When you get to the smallest size the ball is destroyed (but you have to destroy each small part of the previously big ball). You shoot these chain things that stay connected to whatever they hit for a second. You can only shoot straight up. At the level select you choose which country you want to go to.

Anyone know what this game is called? I spent an hour trying to find it last night again :( :(

Buster Bros. (or Super Buster Bros.).   Fun, fun game!  Used to play all the time.

I always knew the game as Pang, Buster Bros the US name?

Yeah, Buster Bros. is a/k/a Pang and Super Buster Bros. is a/k/a Super Pang.  I think both names were used in the US.  (Correction: Pang 3 in Japan was known as Buster Buddies in the US)

SBB was also released on the Super Nintendo and a collection for the Playstation.

Pang has several sequels in Mame. You should check them out too.
