I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but...
When playing Mortal Kombat 2 I always remembr being able to finish someone on the first stage (the dead pool) by simply uppercutting them and them flying into the acid. For some reason on the version I'm playing (rev 4.1 I believe; MK2 rom for sure) this doesn't work. The computer can kill me this way but when I uppercut the computer they just end up on the ground.
I know this is nit picky but it was one of the coolest parts of the game to me so I'd just like to know if this is in all the different revisions ??? or is it just me ??? or is there actually a fatality move to perform this and my memory is completely shot. :-\

It's you! ;)
You have to hold down (If I remember correctly) low punch, block, and low kick the uppercut them. It might just be low kick and block--I'm not sure.

Well whadyaknow.
Maybe they changed it on the SNES version ( The one I played the most as a kid) and made it a simple uppercut.
Thanks for the info. I'll try it tonight when I get home.

Nope, the snes version used the same combination as did all versions of mk2.
You are thinking of mk1, in which pit fatilities were done with a simple uppercut.

Then it must be the shot memory! :-\
