Title: coin mech wires?
Post by: Mr. Dude on June 04, 2004, 08:37:56 am
I'm thinking of wiring up my coin mechs so I can order some tokens from this site and use them.  I hope my question doesn't sound too dumb but is there any specific kind of wire I need to use?  I know where I need to run them and solider them but I just don't know what kind of wire to buy.  Thanks!

Coin mechs are 100% mechanical, working on weights.  No wiring necessary.

You will, however, have to adjust for the diameter of the token, and the thickness.

Sorry... I don't think I was clear enough.  I wanted to know what kind of wire to use to connect the  microswitch (N/O terminal and COM terminal) to the coin button I already have on my CP, so that when I insert a coin it is functional in the game I'm playing.  I suppose it's just copper wire or something of that sort.

Use the same wire you used for your other controls.
