Title: wanted: heavy-duty momentary switch to replace cabinet power toggle switch
Post by: krick on June 03, 2004, 10:52:08 pm
I'm looking for a nice heavy-duty normally open pushbutton (ON)-OFF momentary switch, preferrably made of metal, that has the same mounting diameter as a standard cabinet toggle power switch.

I want to replace my cabinet toggle power switch with the button described above and wire it directly to my computer's on/off button.

Anybody bought something like this for their cabinet?

I'm looking for links and/or part numbers.  Thanks.

oh cool... thanks for the link/description... wj2k3

I used a momentary pushbutton switch from the doorbell section (of either HD or ratshack) and it fit right in the mounting/hole where the original toggle switch was. YMMV of course =)
