Title: PolePos/2 Gear indicator

I've noticed in the latest version of MAME (possibly before) a MAME OSD box pops up with 'LO' or 'HI' when changing gear.  I seem to vaguely recall a way of turning this off, or I might have just imagined it...

Does anyone get the same, and if so, how do you turn it off?

That should only pop up in windowed mode or debug mode.  What version are you using?

Edit:  Sorry that didn't make a lot of sense.... what I meant was what port of mame are you using.

I'm running it full screen...maybe I've accidentally left debug mode on then - I'll check when I get home.

Standard Windows commandline MAME.

I checked and debug is off, anyone else get the same problem??

edit:  just tried, I'm getting it too.... trust me this is a new thing, probably a bug.  When I get a chance I'll download the latest version of the source and check it out.

its a new thing. Before it was constanly on the right lower side. Now it pops up and dissapear.

I think the indicator in the bottom right is built into the game tho, whereas the box which now pops up is a MAME thing...
