looking for a product or tip to remove glue from a contol panel that was left behind after stripping off the lexan.
Its a big plastic based panel with alot of glue to remove. Hot water has no effect. I can get it to come off by rubbing with my fingers but this way is going to take many many hours and blister my fingers.
I do not believe we can buy "glue gone" in the UK so what else is available?

I know you've tried hot water but how about hot water with some washing up liquid in it - that sometimes does the trick.

Hey Minwah, Tried HOT water as I had this thing in the bath tub with a scrubbing brush and the shower blasting away.
Its a Sega ST-V cabinet contol panel, and the glue is the darker areas of the panel - which means there is alot to remove.
btw where can I get a custom lexan or -whatever plastic skin - printed up in the UK to recover the panel?

If you want I'll send you some Goo Gone. It's like $3.00US a bottle here. Shipping might be pricey, though. Actually, maybe not; Priority Global Mail should be ~$4.00US due to the light weight.
