Anyone on this forum in Indiana besides myself?
-
Not anymore.
-
Used to be in Indianapolis, but now in Florida. That reminds me to point my friends up there in the right direction.
-
I live about 30 miles North of Indianapolis
-
I used to. I graduated from IU in '96. Go Pacers!!!!!
I live in South Florida now.
-
Yes I'm in Greenwood. What city are you in?
-
I was thinking it would be cool to maybe get together and talk arcades sometime. But doesn't seem as if there are very many of us in Here.
-
I'm from Fort Wayne and I visit often... There's someone else from FW, too. They have a rabbit icon. Can't remember the username. Spend lots of time in Indy, too.
-
Jones?
-
used to live in Vincennes....but not anymore ;D
-
Looks like there's a bunch of former Hoosiers. I also am from Greenwood originally, but have since moved to Michigan.
-
I VISIT the Corydon area with my wife and kids to visit the in-laws. Does that count? :D

I'm in good old Bloomington, home of IU, area.
-
I was born and raised in the South Bend/Mishawaka area in Indiana, and I currently live in Elkhart. Actually, I currently reside in Daytona Beach Florida because I am on my honeymoon, but I will be going back home to Elkhart in a few days :-\ That is, unless I can talk my wife into staying here! :D
Corydon is a neat little town... It was the original capital of Indiana before it was moved to Indianapolis. Okay, the history lesson is over. It's good to see some fellow hoosiers around here!

AmericanDemon,
Are you a student, former student, townie? What years were you in school? I graduated in 96 and left in 99.
-
Hooch or American Demon:
Ever spend any time at Kilroy's Sports? I worked there about 95-96 and got my MBA in '98.
-
I'm in Indianapolis -- was born here, still live here. I like this town...
It's funny hearing people talk about Kilroy's on this board. I spent some time there during my college years. I like Bloomington, but like to hate IU (I graduated from Purdue in 95). However, my wife graduated from IU.
I try to get to the US Amusements auction every time it comes to town (which has been very often). I got a DK cab there for under $100 once (it had been converted to a VS. Unisystem w/Super Mario, though).
I was pretty active in the BBS scene in Indianapolis back in the 80's -- mostly on Atari 8-bits and PCs.
-
I found my way to Kilroy's a few times, but didn't care for the busy scene as much. It also isn't smart to play cage basketball when you're drinking. Or am I thinking of the other Kilroy's? I actually preferred places like the Crazy Horse, Legend's (the country bar), and ofcourse Night Moves (not that I frequent that kind of place anymore). I probably hit them all at one point or another. That is all but Bullwinkle's.
-
Hooch:
Ah yes, Night Moves, I used to hang out with a stripp . . danc . . . employee there. My girlfriend lived right behind Legends so we were there often (a bar within stumbling distance is a huge bonus).
I forgot about Bullwinkle's! I have to admit I even went there once or twice. It's the only place in Bloomington where the pool tables were always open!
-
Actually I just work in the city. I used to manage the Video World stores there from 2000 - 2002. Kilroys is cool, don't go much. Uncle Festers on Kirkwood is a lot of fun. However you will find me primarily at Axis. Lots of fun there ;)
I've wrestled in Legends a couple of times, good rowdy crowd. Good booze too. ;)
-
I think I still owe Video World a late fee ;D
-
Those are Extra Day Fees! ;) Actually I doubt you do, they were bought out by Movie Gallery two years ago. :)
I now work for Insight Communications. You may still owe them though :D

I'm in Indianapolis near the airport. I do have a few odds and ends for sale. And some Laminate for $15.00 a sheet. Don;t really remember the colors, but I'd make someone a heck of a deal on it.
