Hey all,
I recently bought this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3292296157&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3292296157&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1)) arcade cabinet. But after I got it I noticed that it was not a real Great 1000 Mile Rally game. I don't really care, because I love the cabinet and it works perfectly for me. I am just curious what game it used to be. I might use that in the marquee and side art when I get to the part. Thanks again!

p.s. - here are the pics in case the auction page disappears. if anyone wants more pics of anything specific let me know and i will try to post some.

I've heard them being referred to as "circle k" or "7eleven" cabs. I think they are just generic cabs not dedicated to any one game. I had one awhile back but it started to fall apart just sitting there so it went to the dump. It had obviously had a VERY rough life before i got it in a bulk buy. It would sway side to side about 8-10 inches.

Hey dirt,
That's kind of what I was thinking because I have never seen another cabinet like this one, but I wasn't sure.
Mine is definitely solid and not swaying back and forth thankfully though ;D. Hopefully it will last me awhile! Thanks again.

Yeah and DHL delivered it the NEXT DAY :o! I was in heaven! I actually just finished the control panel this weekend and now need to start wiring everything and configuring my pc.

That pull out drawer and the fact that the whole front of the cab comes off should make the wiring prosses pretty easy.

oh yeah! That was one of the features I loved the most when I first got it. It makes accessing everything soooooooooooooooooooo much easier! What's really cool is that the marquee light being at waist level, shines light through my translucent trackball and makes it glow. ;D

That actually looks A LOT like an Atari Basketball. I had kind of wondered what mine would look like if I did give up on it and convert it.

After looking at it and pictures of a Atari Basketball game, I definitely think that it what it is. Does anybody have any info about the Atari Basketball cabinet? I specifically need the dimensions of the marquee because it did not come with that. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks again to everyone who has helped me with it so far!!

I have one in my basement, and it has no marquee area, instead just has the name on the bezel. Otherwise it is near identical to the cab in your picture.
