I've been tasked with coming up with a name that will appeal to an 8 yr. old girl (who loves animals) and her parents. So it has to have something to do with arcades, animals and not be too juvenile--but not too adult either--I was thinking something along the lines of Maddy's Arcade, Arcade-Maddness etc. Anyways, what animals are in video games that I could include with the artwork? there's the obvious monkey in donkey kong and Mouse in mappy--can anyone think of other more obscure characters?
I was also thinking of doing like a mad scientist theme with animals as mad scientists but I have no artistic ability whatsoever to come up with that artwork. Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

He already got that one.
There's also Bentley Bear from Crystal Castles (so adorable you could just vomit)....
That... er... thing from Q*Bert (not technically an animal but animal-esque)
The turtles from Mario Bros. (called Shellcreepers but then changed to Koopa Troopers in Super Mario Bros.)
- and once again that's all I can think of

I never knew about bentley bear--thanks--although I had better not get flamed by any of you guys for putting a character on the marquee that you won't be able to play the corresponding game on the machine!

Maddy's Monkey Machine
You could use Donkey Kong Images.

Well they've picked a name "Mad Match" and they would like cats and dogs in the theme somehow. So I'm thinking of using the same font as street fighter with a cat one side and a dog on the other side of the marquee in the classic street fighter poses. So knowing nothing of street fighter where do i find pics of the characters that I can photoshop to use cats and dog heads on? they need to be full body shots and not just the head shots.
