which is the best coin door and mech to go for when fitting to a cocktail cab?
are ther mechs specifically desinged for cocktails?
how much space do they normally take up?
just bit concerned that many mechs will be too deep to fit with the monitor/motherboard inside?

I used this door:
http://www.happcontrols.com/coindoors/40051400.htm
on this project:

with no space problems at all.
The mini over under is nice because it comes with the change bucket built right in.

yes that looks ideal solution - but somehow i think it will be too expesivive to buy new from Happ in the UK - will call them to check. wonder if possible to pick 2nd hand from somewhere?

I flipped my monitor upside down in order to fit the monitor main board and coin mechs.
If you mount the monitor upside down you can either yoke flip your monitor or find a software solution to flip the screen.

i see a few coin doors with mechs advertised on ebay. wonder how much it would cost to ship them from US to UK?
I expect shipping would be pretty expensive.
Figure the coin doors/mechs are pretty heavy to ship?

I ship Happ's full over/under type doors on a some what regular basis. Within the US they typically cost around $15 to ship. I have never shipped overseas (although I'm about to check on prices to ship to Israel), but I think the door I sent to Canada, was about $25.
The full over/under doors weigh a little under 15 lbs.
