I've finished the control panel for my Mame cab and I've started testing it :P. Its a panel with a spinner, a trackball, 3 buttons and a pistol grip joystick with 2 buttons. Everything works pretty well. My issue is I am unable to set the Acceleration levels for the Spinner. The settings in the control panel only affect the trackball. The controllers are set up as such: The trackball is an imperial with a ps2 port on it. It included the wiring for 3 mouse buttons. The Spinner is home made (hand made encoder wheel, Hard drive bearings) using a serial mouse's optics. I need to increase the sensitivity a bit it lag a little compared to the trackball. I know I should have use a usb mouse or somthing else for the optics but the serial mouse was all I had. Is their a registry or windows setting that would let me increase the acceleration or am I doomed to rebuild it. It works great in tempest and 720 but in Araknoid it is slow.
Any advice would be appreciated. ??? ;D
