Title: Control Panel Overlays -- Where can I find one?
Post by: sofakng on May 28, 2004, 08:18:11 pm
I'm building my first cabinet and I don't want it to look really plain.  I'll probably paint the cabinet itself black, but I really want artwork for the sides, and an overall for the control panel.

Now, the overall I have in mind is PERFECTLY shown here:

This is from "MAME: Game Not Over" by GSXRMovistar.  I've e-mailed him asking for the overall but I haven't gotten a response.

So, I already have a ton of blue and black buttons that I'm going to use on my control panel.

Where can I find a nice overall for it?  I'm not very talented at graphics so I doubt I could design my own.

What are my options?

As a side question, how can I get artwork for the sides of my cabinet so it doesn't look too plain?

Localarcade.com (http://localarcade.com/arcade_art/) has a lot of vector artwork. Not the one you had your eye on (because it's never been submitted) but has a lot of other good stuff that you can use, or use as a basis to make your own.

I'd have a little chat with Frostillicus if I was you.
