Title: joystick colors?
Post by: krick on May 28, 2004, 12:19:21 am
I'm sitting here staring at the Ultimarc order form.

I want to order some joysticks and I've realized that I have to commit to a color.

The T-Stik Plus comes in RED, BLUE, and BLACK and the longer shafts with ball top come in RED, BLUE, BLACK, and L GREEN.

I'm pretty sure that BLUE and L GREEN are out of the question.  That leaves me with taseful BLACK that goes with everything or RED that is more "classic arcade".

I can't recall ever seeing a black ball top stick.  I don't know if that will look ok.  Argggghhhh... decisions....decisions....

somebody help me

To be honest I like blue but I can't think of any classic games that were fitted with that colour joystick.

Ok, how do you guys feel about trackball colors?

Ultimark offers WHITE and RED.

I think WHITE might look dirty after a while but I'm not really sure how I feel about a RED trackball.

Red trackball yucky. If you can't have some funky transluscent or backlit, or designed or something, just stick with white :)

Ball top controllers will only look right to me if they're red, nothing else will do. Joysticks are only black.

Of course, those are ll of my preferences, but I can't imagine putting any otehr than standard colors in unless you're going with a  theme.
