Title: Who actually builds new cabs?
Post by: paigeoliver on May 27, 2004, 07:03:33 pm
Anyone in  the greater St. Louis area actually BUILD cabinets. I normally don't build them, but was THINKING about making a pair of new cabs for my City Connection and Uo Poko projects.

Anyway, what I was getting at is this. I would trade some cool arcade stuff to someone if they provided the side panels pre cut and pre-routed for t-molding.

I would love to do it.  However, Grand Rapids MI really isn't local.  Shoot!

Hey Paige, I built my own cab, have two more planned.  From Rolla, down I-44 about 100 miles. Have a busy summer though, but maybe I could help.  Shoot, I could just bring my power tools and sawhorses to your house and have them knocked out in a couple hours, if you have the measurements for your side panels.

paige,
i also could do this very easily. i've got a template for this very thing. it'd take me no time to route however many side panels you need.

here's a shot of how the cab i built using it turned out.

the design came from a karate champ, and it also resembles lusids to a certain degree.

just get in touch if i can help you out. as you know, i run through stl quite often, not sure when my next trip will be but i doubt it will be to far off.
