Title: D9200 (Who has one?) Poll
Post by: dabone on May 27, 2004, 11:43:02 am
I wimped out on the Neotec monitor, and got my 9200 in yesterday.
Looked great, threw it into the cab and left it playing MarvelVsCapcom all night.
Came in this morning and I now have NO highvoltage.
Wells is sending me another monitor and picking up the return shipping on the old one.

Talk about disappointment. (But I did ask for it didn't I?)

I just installed my for about 2 weeks now, without any problem yet.  But I did notice that heatsinks for couple of transistors did get very hot after about 30-40 minutes of running.  I am afraid the heatsinks are too small for these transistors.  I might need to add a fan to help reduce the heat or something.

I noticed of one of the operator boards they recommend if you want the monitor to live, you need to have a fan pointed at the neck board.

(I've got to rig one up when I get the new one in.)

No problems after 8 months with light use, but I am getting nervous based on what I am reading lately!
