Title: Nanao capkit source?
Post by: zakk23 on May 26, 2004, 08:33:55 pm
I'm trying to locate a Capkit for a Nanao MS8-29FTB. (Taito Egret cabinet).
Can't seem to find anyone that lists this. Anyone have a source, or even a list of
caps?

Failing that, anyone have any recommendations for a good 31Khz capable 29" monitor? :)

Have you contacted www.therealbobroberts.com yet?

Another good source of cap kits and monitor repair information is:

Zanen Electronics
46 Parklane Dr.
Ransom Canyon, TX 79366
Phone:  888.449.2636

Nothing against Bob, but Zanen will accept credit card over the phone and provides free phone support.  Just another option for you...

Just an FYI/followup. No one sells a 'kit' for this particular model. I pulled the chassis out and cataloged a bunch of the caps, I'll post a list after I organize it a bit better. However, it appears the adjustment pot for my blue bias is busted, I'd like to find a schematic for this chassis so I can figure out a suitable replacement, since it doesn't seem to be obviously marked.

Any pointers there?
