Often (not all the time) when I exit to windows from Mamewah my desktop resolution has been changed from 1600x1200 to 800x600. Any ideas why and how to stop it?
Also will MameWah support a 1600x1200 layout if I create one?

The only time Mamewah doesn't return my desktop to its original size is when it exits because of an error. However, I have not tried the newest version (.97?) yet.

I just got MAMEWAH up and running on my PC today and have been playing alot of the fighters on my keyboard. I have been having this same problem! I'm also getting errors when I hit the Shift key too much. Another problem is when I hit the CTRL and ALT buttons at the same time I'm pressing a directional button. It flips the screen. ????

Now that you mention it it is usually when I do something stupid like hit the windows key or shift too many times and turn on sticky keys. I think things will be fine when I start using my joystick all the time.

Some apps can steal focus from MAMEWAH too - check it isn't that.
Turn the annoyance that is Stickykeys off too - Shift is a standard MAME button so could still give you jip with sticks/buttons...
And MAMEWAH will work with any resolution, as long as your video card can successfully change to that res...

Untick 'Use StickyKeys', click on Settings and untick 'Use shortcut'.

I haven't had any more problems with it since I turned off sticky keys and am more careful about hitting that windows key.
And I got it running at 1600x1200 with no problems last night. Even dabbled with the layout designer. Pretty neat stuff.
