Hi all, I'm ordering a SlikStik classic for my soon to be built cabinet. I'm basing my cabinet off of LuSiD's plans. The depth of the SlikStik CP is 14.75", and according to LuSiD's plans, there is a 12" deep "shelf" for the CP to sit on, which means the SlikStik will stick out 2.75" from the front of the cabinet. I'm interested in reducing the shelf depth to 10" by moving the monitor area forward 2". This will buy me extra space for the depth of the TV, but obviously, the SlikStik will now overhang the front of the cabinet by 4.75". Can anyone comment on how far their control panel overhangs the front of their cabinet??? All input is appreciated!

I don't think you have too much to worry about, my CP's overhang approx 12" lol.

Apollo, 12 inches??? Do you have any pictures??? I'm curious as to how a CP looks hanging over that far. i don't feel so bad having a 4 3/4" overhang now!!!

Haven't got pictures yet as I'm waiting to finish my cab before showing it to anyone ( it's rather special in design ). Should be a couple of months away now.
