Hi all, this is obviously not for an arcade cabinet, but I know that many of the people that are into computers/Mame are also into home theater so I figured I'd offer up my recently replaced NEC LT100 DLP projector. This projector is about 4 years old, but I've only used it for about 500 hours. This projector displays 1024x768 native (no upscaling) and will upscale to 1280x1024. I have never had an issue with this unit and it displays outstanding video! I 've played an Xbox and a laptop on it and it looks awesome on my 104" wide screen!!! If you are interested, goto this link for tons of specs on this projector. http://www.projectorcentral.com/NEC-MultiSync_LT100.htm
If you're wondering why I'm selling this, it's because I got a great deal on an NEC LT155 that is basically the same unit, but is a bit smaller so it fits on my shelf better! I really have no need for this projector, but I have a need for cash, so make an offer! I'm not looking for anything close to the original MSRP ($7,995), so all offers will be considered. Seriously, make any offer! Ask yourself, isn't it time you had a home theater to go along with your home arcade?????

I have no idea how much to offer since I'm just new into the projector market but how much would you want including shipping to Alberta, Canada? I can pay by paypal or whatever you want. :)
Thanks,
Mark

Skylap, thanks for your inquiry. UPS.com estimates ground, insured shipping for this item at about $25 dollars (US). My estimate is that this projector costs about $750 right now. Since I am selling an additional, brand new lamp, which costs about $400, I'm looking in the $850 range. Negotiating is welcome!

What if I wanted just the projector? Is the lamp in it no good?
-
Shoot! I have $500 for a projector, this is out of my budget. :(
-
I'm might be in the market for that thing. My brother and I both want one so we may go in together for one. I'll ask him.
-
Alan, The lamp in the projector is fine. It has about 500 hours on it and is rated for 1000 hours, However, these lamps will work for 1500-2000 hours with minimal decrease in brightness.
-
What about $600?
-
Skylap, your offer is close, but not quite what i wanted for it. I'm going to wait and see what Alan comes back with (I feel like Ebay!) I'm a very charitable person, but I really need the money for this projector so i can build my arcade cabinet!!!!!

just to add some info about projectors.
This projector is very nice, but more importantly it comes with a spare bulb. Too many people do not figure that into their purchase of a projector and are shocked at another 500 to 1000 bucks after a couple of years.
My DLP is due for a new bulb and I am not looking forward to it

Nobody wants this fine projector??? I'm amazed! Maybe everyone here has a projector already and knows the joy of watching their favorite DVD on a 10 foot wide screen!!!! Hell, forget watching a DVD, you haven't played MAME until you've played it on a 10 foot wide screen!!!! So come on people, lets start the haggling!!!!!!!

$600 :)
-
It's a question of timing... I want it, but don't have $850 right now.
-
Okay, I've revised my expectations! I'll accept the first offer of $800! That's for a relatively unused DLP 1024x768 (native) projector and an EXTRA BRAND NEW BULB!!!
