well the auction ended for this cabinet and as soon as my dad sent the winner the invoice this guy emails my dad back and says sorry i cant afford the cabinet maybe you should try to post it at byoac. WTF. anyway im just letting you guys know to stay away from the guy who won the auction. he obviously had no intention of buying the cab and might have stopped someone who would have made a real bid at the starting price. i almost forgot he also told my dad there is no reason to leave him neg. feedback because he will pay for the relisting fee. now correct me if i am wrong but are'nt the relisting fees waived for the first time you relist something? anyway i think this guy is just a waste of space and i hope he is not a regular here. and if he is and is reading this my addvice to you is try not to waste anyone else's time and dont bid on stuff if you are not going to follow thru. it makes you look like a jacka**.

ok, my little rant is over. everyone may now go back to their regular lives.

I hate that crap!! Your dad was charged selling and listing fees by E-bay, and at that price, they're not miniscule. The deadbeat bidder should atleast pay for those. I'd leave negative feedback for sure!!

Dirt, does your dad have the plans for that cabinet?  I'd like to build my own in that style and have been collecting all the Midway-style cabinet plans I can find for about a year.  :)

Thanks,

Coleman

Actually, he can get those fees back by filing a non-paying bidder report.

I added him to my blocked bidder list.  Thanks for letting us know.

he doesn't really have any plans for that cabinet style. he took measurements from another cab the made a template of the side piece. the rest he makes up when he builds it. some cabs are wider or narrower depending on what the person wants. sorry

I'd give him bad feedback for sure...

It looks real nice from the pictures.  If you were closer I would probably have him build me a couple.  You should include some close ups.

Hello,

This is dirt's dad. Just thought I would let everyone know that the guy that won the bid on my cabinet, then reneged on the auction, not only offered to pay for my fees but did so. Since he did pay the fees I released him from the transaction and I have relisted the cabinet. All is well in cabinet-land.

VectoRaster Project (exact same design except the control panel ... and the plans even cover the control design that's one that cabinet)
