Title: Model 1 Oscar to Opti-pac?

I was wondering if it's possible to wire in an Oscar 1 spinner (not the model 2) to an optipac.

I had bought a couple of model 1 spinners,  I recently ordered an Optipac so I can hook up 2 trackballs for my cocktail cab in addition to the 2 spinners. (In hindsight, I should have planned accordingly...)

Can I tap the wires from the model 1 or am I screwed? Thanks...

Unfortunately, the optics used on the Model 1 are not friendly with the Opti-PAC.  I have not yet been successful in hooking them up.

Your best bet would be to put together a couple of optic boards as described on Ultimarc's site (http://www.ultimarc.com/optipac4.html).  If you have any questions about it, or would like to just purchase a couple of Model 2 boards from me, please send me an email.

If anybody is catching this post - much props to Oscar for the great support and help given to me via email. (behind the scenes from this topic)

I can't say enough about the Oscar's willingness to help me get my stuff straightened out!

For that, I shall have to kick Donkey Kong's Hairy Gorilla Heinie...
