I was curious if anyone in this forum currently uses an HDTV for their Cabinet Display.
-
I have a mini-ITX that I use on my HDTV. I'm using the S-Video out though, so I'm not sure if that's what you meant.
-
Mainly wondering if anyone is using Component or DVI.
-
Not for the cabinet, but I am using a PS2 on HDTV using component cables. I highly recommend it!

That's my plan.
I have a Zenith C27V36 HDTV, but I have been unable to get DVI working. My vid card is a Radeon 9200, so no dongle deal is available.
Right now I'm just using S-video, which looks ok, but no where near as good as it could look.

Have you considered picking up one of the VGA to Component boxes? Its supposed to work out awesome. I'm weighing my options right now to decide which monitor to get and how to hook the sumbitch up. I just want to "gitter done" within the next 6 months.

I picked up my Radeon 8500 for $50 shipped off eBay. The dongle should cost around another $40 shipped. Just thought I would throw that out there. If you go with a VGA-Component box, post up your details and let us know.
