Title: Saturn to psx adaptors ?
Post by: fiend471 on May 21, 2004, 01:50:12 pm
i'm on cab for Dreamcast/saturn use,   (been not so easy to find a saturn > dreamcast adaptor), but it's ok.

would like to profit from psx/ps2 game range too.

but harder much harder seems to find a Saturn to psx adaptor !!    the purpose is to use Sega arcade stick japanese panels on psx/ps2 games too.  and i can't find any online store who has these "old" adaptors !   there has been some (especially to sell lot of segasticks when saturn went off)

if anybody has an idea !  you're welcome   :)

I'm guessing that English is not your native tongue.

I have not been able to find that adapter either.  Its a difficult one, but you can always hack it yourself.  Find a cheap PS2 controller and bust out the soldering iron.  You could have yourself an arcade perfect controller in no time.

fine answers  ;D

1. yes, but , , , ,  punctuation is the worst i guess

2. i know i could do it,  but i don't want make surgeonery on the saturn arcade sticks,  or that would mean that i would later require switches to activate psx/saturn modes :/

some people claimed too when Virtua-on came on ps2 for such adaptors (twin sticks exist on saturn/dreamcast)  but i didn't read something or someone that successfully achieved this

Are you not planning to use real arcade parts such as Happs parts?

Check out this site, it may help you out a bit.
