I am just curious what your thought are on the best trackballs and spinners for the price? I am kind of on a budget but I would like to hear what you all recommend using and if you have time maybe tell me why? Any help is appreciated!
THANKS
CHRIS

I have the Happ 3" trackball (http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/560110xx.htm), and while not cheap (it's pushing $100), it feels awesome.
To be honest, I was cheap with the trackball on my first cab, and I was unhappy with it. I got this thing for my second cab, and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the input ;D
I have a question if anyone out there has the "atari" and the 3" trackball (or have used both)....Which is better overall for playing with? I understand both have their advantages but a gamer like myself likes to play centipede along with golden tee golf....So which would be considered a better "all around" trackball? Or if there is a better than the 2 mentioned please let me know :)
BTW: Anyone have any opinions on cheap, yet good spinners?
Appreciate the help!

Do you mean 2 1/4" (atari?) vs 3" trackball? Because happs 2 1/4" and 3" trackball are based on the Atari mini and mid trackballs, respectively. (So both sizes are "atari".)
I am trying happs 3" high lip (basicaly the same as atari's 3") and wico's 3". The happs sounds rougher but actually feels smoother. I don't know exactly why, but currently I like the happs better. (maybe 'cause I spent more for it?) I haven't done any real head to head tests yet, though.
BTW, happs has three 3" designs: 3", 3" high lip ("for golden tee"), and the 3" high ball. The first two are exactly the same during play (mounting is almost the same). The third has a higher sitting ball and needs a different mounting plate, but uses ~90% of the same parts as the other two, AFAICT from the exploded views. I have the high lip version.
Spinners I'd say go with OSCARs, but they're not free.
