Title: what halloween costume should I do ??

Hi all:

with all these tron suits.... ghostbuster suit... star war suit... they're all really good... and this got me thinking...

I know I'm going to have a halloween party this yr.... and with all these sites up...

I would like to know....

what should I do this yr ?? any suggestions ??

I would prefer something that is not expensive...
(sorry... spending something like $3000+ on a ghostbuster suit is nowhere near my budget... haa haa...)

I don't mind going thru some trouble.... but my skills in putting together models (like model cars... model planes..) etc are not that good.... that's why I want to start early this yr to plan and build....

well... I know... summer is not even here..... but usually.... I keep putting it off until the last minute and then I just end up doing something cheap and lame....

and yes.... I like sci fi things....

and pointers ??... links ??....

Have you ever seen the movie the Black Hole?  There are these guys who were enslaved and wear silver face masks and robes... that could be a cool and cheap costume.

I've always thought that with some makeup, some black paint and a pile of junk scavenged from my various parts bins I could put together a pretty good Borg costume. Not that I've ever done it, but I think it would be pretty fun to put together.

If you're looking for ultra cheap, you could go with a Streaker costume.  $0 expense there.  ;D

borg costume... hmmm.... sounds very cool....

Mars Rover... you mean that mars surface space vehicle ?!?!... (I'm kinda lost here.... is it a joke ??)

Sorry.... I'm not too into Qbert....

actually... the tron outfit (or more specifically...) the glow wire is very cool.... but.... I want to make some costume that is kinda cool..... (both before and after I wear it....)

so, I'll try not to huant anyone with my costume... haa haa...   ;) ;D

Pac-Man.

I did a Borg costume one year... it was a pain in the tail, but the end result was cool.  Even had a halogen flashlight front in an eyepiece over my eye with a red lens that I could activate from a control pad on my chest...
