Title: Blue (track)balls problem
Post by: Hammerbot on May 20, 2004, 07:56:37 am
I got a problem with my trackball.

Whenever I spin it really fast in one direction it acts erratically.

For example, if in marble madness I spin it really quickly to get away from the black ball guy, the marble hesitates, backs up a bit and then takes off quickly in the direction that it was spun.

The problem is that I always fall off the maze....  (wahhh, whaaaa...)

Any thoughs on a reason/fix?

Thanks in advance...

What model trackball?

What diameter trackball?

I have a 3" Happs high lip. It acted a little funny at first. I opened it up and checked the rollers. One was not seated the whole way...

Sounds like backspin to me.  Try adjusting the sensitivity in the game.  Also, make sure you're not using mouse acceleration.
