Hi guys,
I've just been reading just about all I can over the last week and am in the process of planning out my cabinet. One question that I couldn't seem to find the answer for on here, is how can I start to vectorise my own images? What software is involved/needed. I have access to photoshop 7 which I know can produce vectorised images, however, is there any simple point and click software that can convert a rasterized image to a vectorised one?
I'd love to know more about this so I can plan the artwork for the cabinet also.

Lots of progs out there for this purpose, Illustrator, Corel....that's all I'm familiar with, but I know there are others.
Frostillicus has a tutorial on how to do this. I believe it's on his site or Mahuti's site....check to find it, download it, read it, do it to it.
Tracing programs that I've tried SUCKED big time. Trying one of those first, then going through Frosty's tutorial and seeing his theory behind tracing will make it apparent why you want to do this yourself, rather than relying on a program to do it for you.

You can download it from the Arcade Art Library (http://localarcade.com/4images/details.php?image_id=223&mode=search)

Thanks for the direction drewkaree and mahuti, I'll get to the reading.

The only tracing program I've ever tried (Adobe Streamline) sucked in a really major way. You'll get much better results doing it yourself even if you're just a beginner.
