Title: 49 way joystick question

I know there is a product you can buy that will translate the old Sinistar/ new Blitz joysticks, but will it work on the arch rivals sticks?

The Arch Rivals stick is essentially the same as Sinistar.  The notable differences are that the Arch Rivals stick has 3 slots cut in the mounting plate instead of the 2 slots in a Sinistar stick, and it uses a later rev optic board.  Other than that, they are the same.  Electrically the two are compatible, so they should both work just the same with the pc interface.

btw, the outputs are different.  There had to be some changes to Daves board to get it to work with both.  (I don't know the difference, but I think its one is 0100 and the other is 0111 for the same position.)

Anyway... a bigger quesiton

Anyone figure out a good over the shelf cable to plug into it for hacking?
