I have an idea (which you can determine whether it is good or bad) for using my cab for consoles games and actually being able to play the console games on a TV. i have a big screen near my cab which can be hooked up via s-video. My question to you guys is: Does anyone make a 4 port wireless USB hub?
What I was considering is have a seperate "control box" that has 4 buttons. (player 1-4 start) This allows emulators to be cycled and games selected via mamewah. There would be 4 usb ports on the front where original controllers for consoles would plug in.
The 2 issues that I face are mamewah supporting joystick selection and wireless USB.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Todd

the trouble is the lag sucks for games.
If you want wireless access... Try bluetooth and a wireless joystick. They have some good ones out these days that have very little lag.
don't use a wireless keyboard. Because they aren't designed for gaming.... and don't care about per key lag...
Last... deside how much you care. Because it will be harder to deal with, and cost more then a good keyboard encoder.

I actually bought two Logitech Cordless Rumblepads off eBay (average cost was about $13/pad) for the purpose of making a cordless CP. Problem was, the more I started working on the CP, the more I decided I really wanted a full-on CP with spinner and trackball, so I went with a 2-player CP and a USB minipac.
...but I kept the gamepads for p3/p4, and for a few special games (having the two analog sticks and buttons as well is actually kinda nice for some odd games like Assault or Battlezone, and the "flipper" buttons are good for Vindicators) since I don't have top-fire joysticks on my CP.
I would like to find a low-latency wireless USB doohicky, though... but I sure don't know of one.
