Title: WG D9200 too big for my cabinet, any smaller alternatives
Post by: jerrydel on May 16, 2004, 06:44:44 pm
Well, I've checked around here and searched other messages but did not find out what I was looking for (I might not have typed in the correct wording I needed in the search tab).

My problem is that I am in the process of building a Dragon's Lair cabinet that will run Daphne as well as MAME, but if I use a WG D9200 monitor it will be too large for my cabinet.

So, is there a monitor out there like the WG D9200 but smaller, say somewhere between 19" through 21" (I only have 23.5" in the inside to work with), I doubt it but I figured I would ask.

And if not, what monitor do you recommend, I would like to play Dragon's Lair as well as some other games using MAME.  I'm also a big vector gamer and like asteroids, tempest and armour attack.

btw, can I have some feedback on how the vector games look on a regular arcade monitor.

(if I have overlooked a previous thread on this subject please point me to that thread.)

  Thanks for any info.

   Jerry

Try the Neo Tec brand. Visit www.neotecgraphic.com and look at the tri-sync styles.

They are trying to figure out if the neotec has the same features as the d9200.  Should also apply the the 19" model.

How much is this 19" ? I am also in a hunt for AUTO SWITCHING 15-25khz monitors. Is this 19" Neotech Auto Switching between this 2 frequencies ?

Right now, I am thinking of HANTAREX Polostar 21" but I want to know more of this 19" before any decision could be made toward the Hantarex Monitors.
