I am off to Great Adventure this Friday. Its been a while since I went there. I am going to G.A. in Jackson NJ. I am hoping to see some classics and hopefully test them out (of course I have to drop in $$$). Anyone here been there lately ? How was the Arcade Center ? I will post a tiny story of an Adventure I will have this weekend. Maybe a few snaps too.

I'm a Great Adventure junkee (though I haven't been able to go as many times as I used to). The arcade... well... hmmm... same as any other modern arcade really, 99% shooting/driving games and then a bunch of skeeball machines, though I haven't really seen it in the past year. Don't hold you breath for any classics though, I don't recall seeing any (may be an Ultracade there though).
However, I do recommend riding Nitro at least three or four times. Oh and if you ride Batman and Robin: Chiller - keep your head back at all times. ;) One more thing: Superman is big on gimmick but not the best coaster. Have fun!

I live about 5 miles from there, walked past the arcade last year, saw a DDR. Sorry, can't help much.
BTW, one of the ways you can identify yourself as a long time New Jersey resident (aside from the obvious ;D), is that you call Six Flags Great Adventure.
