Ok, at this point my driving cabinet plans are still a CAD dream but I have been quite busy collecting all of the needed items on e-bay. So far I have a 360 and a 270 steering system which can be removed and replaced by each other. I also won a pretty nice set of pedals as well as 2 different types of shifters.
The only thing that has been holding me back from starting the construction of this cab was the fact that I really needed a racing seat for under $50 (I'm trying not to tip off the wife, if you know what i mean) ;D. Well after a few endless hours on Google I was able to find a company in CA that fabricates fiberglass bucket seats http://www.pape-ent.com/ (http://www.pape-ent.com/). I plan on installing a few key parts of a rumble vest to the underside of the seat which will make it a rumble seat.
Anyway, I just fingured I would pass along the link.
Thanks
Charlie

If I am not mistaken the $43.60 is only for the frame of the seat. You have to pay an additional $43.60 for the seat cover.

Yes, this is true. I'm going to see what the seat looks like first, if it looks good without the cover than I will not order one. Although, if it's some un-godly looking fiberglass cast type of material that is just plain ugly than I will get a cover.

or maybe you can go check out garages...
I know someone's dad who's working in a car fixing place...
he said they thrwo out car seats quite often when doing body work.... it is because once in a while... they'll buy 2 junk cars... put them together and make 1 working car....
(or buy a junk car and get some parts... and throw away the rest....)

Or just check the junkyards

Well, I got a notification that the seat shipped yesterday from CA. I'm in NY so I think it will be here by Monday-Tuesday of next week. As soon as it arrives I'll take a few pics for posting here and you guys can let me know what you think. BTW - I'm pretty sure I'm going to start the Racing Cab this weekend and will post the progress on the GameCab website in the event that anyone is interested. I was going to turn on the Workshop WebCam but I'm sure you guys don't want to see me hanging around cutting wood all day while I'm chain smoking.
