I'm brainstorming again and was wondering if anyone has mixed their T-Stick Pluses with another type of 8 way ball top. Which one was it and did you have to do anything to make them match in height, ect. Thanks. ;D

My suggestion is...don't mix and match unless you absolutely hate the T-Stick for 8 way gaming. Get two balltop T-Sticks (expensive proposition I know) and be done with it.
My cocktail has a 20th anniversary Ms. Pacman 4-way balltop on one side and I bought the T-Stick for the other side (so I could partake in some vertical schmup goodness). The 20th anniversary stick is like 1/2 the size of the T-stick, both in height and in balltop size. I will probably have to break down and get another T-Stick for the 2nd Player side just so the cabinet doesn't look too cobbled together.

Today i just replaced the standard oval handles of 2 T-Stick Pluses with Ultimarc's' short red ball top replacement handles. They now pretty much match in colour and height as the standard handles of Ultimarc's J-Sticks 8way joysticks. There is a very slight difference in color (the J-Sticks are a slightly darker red) but it is very slight. There is a difference in size between the black dust washer things - but that i can live with that.
However, I'm not sure of the height of the standard T-Stick ball tops so might not be same as the replacement handles i have used. suggest you email andy@ultimarc.com and ask him how they compare to the J-Stick. I have found that he is very helpful.
It's a shame the T-Stick Pluses are not available as standard with a ball top handle. Also I would like the T-Sticks Plus to have the same degree of travel as the J-Sticks - but then that is just my preference!
hope this helps!

I was just brainstorming on another CP I was thinking about. More geared toward classics. I was wanting a T-Stick Plus So I could use it for PacMan and the like, but I also wanted two 8 ways for games like Robotron and othesr that are similar. It just kills me to pay $25 for a joystick, but then pay another $15 just for the ball top. That's why I was wondering if there were any other joysticks that worked well that already had ball tops and would save me the $25. Thanks for the input guys.
