I have an old Pentium166 computer that I was trying to piece together to run mame. I want to put dos on the machine and run an older version of mame or advance mame. I have the choice of a variety of video cards(ATI Mach64, rageII, voodoo3 and a few sound cards(SB64ISA, SBPCI, a couple of generics).
The main question or problem I have is that I don't have any driver disks for the video cards or sound cards. Can I get by without these and if so, how? Also are they any other things I will have to pay special attention to when setting up dos and setting up dos mame?
I have limited experience with dos. I appreciate any advice that you can share. A web page with it laid out step by step would be perfect if anyone knows of one. Thanks in advance.

Here (http://www.mameworld.net/dosmame/) is a link with some information. DOS should be able to run any video card. Getting sound card drivers can be tough. Just do a google search or try to find drivers from the above link.
