Title: Games that cannot be set to free play that have more than one coin chute?
Post by: DaveJ-UK on May 04, 2004, 11:56:15 am
I'm adding extra buttons to my cab so that I won't need a keyboard, but I am not sure which buttons are totally necessary. Now the obvious answer to that is whichever I use, but I want to minimise the number of extra buttons.

For instance, some games have one credit chute while others use 2 or more. I will have as many games as possible set to free play so my question is, are there any games that cannot be set to free play that use more than one coin chute?

If coin chutes are your big issue, just hook one button up to all four chutes... so when you credit one, it credits them all and you don't have to worry about it.

I believe TMNT can't be set to freeplay. I don't think X-men can be either

yeah like inaba said just split one coin chute to all four credit buttons or map all 4 credit keys to one button.

For those two games in particular (TMNT & X-Men) unless you have a 4-player cp on your cab, why not just run the 2-player versions of the games? I know that's what I do for TMNT.

Just a thought.
