The link I saw was only for a $5 off coupon.

According to the coupon, its valid on any product purchased in the store. Also says no change returned for items under $5. So in affect, you can get anything thats $5 for free "at participating stores".

Did you guys find this in a flyer, or in the paper, or what? It says no photocopies, and I'm sure they will consider my laser-printed copy to be a photocopy.

It's on the front page of the website, and yes, your laser printed copy will be honored.

My wife and I both went at lunch to Radio Shack and got a load of female terminal quick connectors. They let us both use separate coupons. So $10 worth of stuff for me!

how many were in the pack of femal connectors? and how much were they?
I figured wire was the only thing I couldn't get somewhere else (HD and Lowes don't carry the small guage wire)

The connectors were like $2 a bag, so I got 4 bags (I also had CA sales tax to worry about). They were in what looks like a tool chest with drawings of each of the items. I was going to get barrier strips, but they were $4 each! I am going to jury rig my own at that price, thank you.

Oh, and there were maybe 10 connectors per bag. A rip off, but I need them.

Whuhahaha! They're getting rid of they're line of Targus camera accessories, so I got a very nice case for my camera that was reduced from 12.99 to 4.97 back down to zip!

You could also get this very nice pack of 10 vinyl style CDRs (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=&product%5Fid=26-570&DSUniqueid=3199283) for nothing!

Just thought I'd add mine...
Printed 2 copies and took the wife with me... got some 18 gauge and 22 gauge wire (both for free).
Wish RS would do stuff like this more often... I'm tempted to see if I can get some friends together and print a few more... I could use a few terminal strips and quick disconnects ;D

Awesome! Went to the three closest RS in my area and they all took the black and white printed coupon. Got 120 ft. of 20 ga. wire for free and some quick connects...

crashwg, it works just fine with the playstation stuff I have. I don't have anything with vibration though so I can't test that part of it.

Just gave it the ol' college try myself. They were like "what the heck is this?" checked out their site, and gave me the discount. I got speaker jacks so I can wire a couple projects. Tomorrow I think I'm going on a little trip to a few around me for some wire, some more connectors, and whatever else I can think of.
Oh yeah, I had to pay tax.

Just got back with some batteries for my son. He went to the counter with the coupon and the guy looked at me and said "That is the stupidest thing Radio Shack has ever done". He called it the free battery coupon. I asked if he had seen a lot of them and he said "oh yea". Too bad for him.

I went to the Radio Shack in Duarte, CA and they told me to take a hike. :( However, the one in Arcadia worked. There are probably over 200 Radio Shacks in Los Angeles County. 53 are within 10 miles of my house. I'm tempted to try everyone.

I went to 8 different RS today. All but one took the coupon. Anyways, got some great wire snips for $3, some connects, and a mile of 20 ga. wire.

I've used three coupons at two stores so far...took my wife with me to the mall store. Going back to hit all three RS stores in the area tomorrow. It will be interesting to get my father-in-law's take on all this...he manages a Rat Shack in Cleveland TN that consistently ranks among the top stores in the country. It's in a strip mall too, if you can believe that. Outsells both mall stores in the area put together. Anyway, they must be losing a shitload of money on this...particularly when the jackass behind the counter tries to upsell you a cell phone with your free spool of wire. :)

Legally, I'm not allowed to set foot in any RadioShacks anymore. I once worked there for a couple of months, but was fired due to an oversight in their background check; they claimed that I was once convicted of drunk driving- at a time before I even lived in the United States!!!!
I eventually got my name cleared, but had to agree not to go near any RadioShacks as part of my settlement. I haven't gone into RadioShack much since then, but I thought I'd better get my dollar's worth with this coupon ;D

I went to Radio Shack in Hollywood. I brought three $1.69 packets of right angle connectors to the cash register and gave the guy my coupon. He told the coupon is only good for a SINGLE product. They gave me 1 packet for free and I had to pay for the other 2. I guess I should of bought a $5 spool of wire instead.

I took my friends around to all of the radioshacks near me and picked up all the wiring stuff I will need to complete my cabinet. Wire, barrier blocks, connnectors everything. I went a little over at one store, so it costs me $1.37 for everything.

I went to 2 different stores yesterday and got 2 packs of 3-color 22 gauge wire. It worked great!!

Check this out...I went running around tonight, all the ass-ociates there were "thank GOD it's the last day"...but the last store I went to, the guys were totally cool with it, and were even telling my wife and I some stories about the past few days.
The funniest one was this: Someone tried to print the coupon on the PC that was running IN THE STORE! LMAO!
The only bad part was they didn't sell female disconnects ONLY...all I found was the male/female bagged set. Still, 50 of them for free....I don't feel bad throwing out the crap I won't use! Also got a few switches and buttons for remote start buttons and whatnot. Thanks a TON for the link and the heads-up on the deal.

The coupon specifically said "product(s)" which means more than one. I would have lost my mind if they tried to screw me.
I used 2 coupons at two different stores. I had printed off a bunch cause I had bigger plans, but didn't end up using them. The people in the store were happy when I started handing them out!

I went to 3 stores. The associates didn't realy say much about the coupons, just that they'd seen 'em. One of the associates said it was the first one he'd seen.
By the time I got to the 3rd store, I was like... Uh, now what do I buy? I ended up getting a right-angle adaptor for coax. Damn that stupid jack behind the bed!!!
