I don't mean to bother you, just wondering if you had any news to pass along to us as to when the book will be released?  I am very anxious to get my hands on this gem.

I was at my local Barnes and Noble and first they told me the 5th and then said it was more like the 13th (of May). So in other words they do not really know. Whoever gets it first should definately post though!

I'm as much in the dark as anyone :)  My editor called me last week and told me he had the proof copy in his hands and that it looked great! However, I don't have an actual "in the stores" date any better than the previous post. I won't even get my authors copies for another month or so, so I'll have to buy my first copy to see it! :)

Hello everyone.

I am new to the boards and about to start my first arcade project.

I just picked up my copy of the book at Barnes and Noble. I did have it on order and I was called today that it was in.

Thanks for the book John. I look forward to all of your insight and knowledge about this hobby.

Interesting!  Looks like you can get it @ bn.com right now.  How...odd.

Edit: I just called the BN store about 50 miles away, and they have several copies!

Yup ... B&N is the way to go if you can't wait to get a copy of it in your hands  ;D

I cancelled my preorder with Amazon couple days ago (4-29) and ordered it from B&N  ;) (shipped out the next day ... woohoo ... screw Amazon ... lol)

I work as a reciever in a B Dalton (part of Barnes and Noble). Last week I saw two copies of the book come in. New books get sent to all stores at the same time, so it's safe to say that any B&N will have copies by now (although some B Daltons may not, they are smaller and often carry only bestseller-type stuff).

I must admit that I only put one copy out on the shelf that day so I could spend my lunch break reading the other one :)

Well, my B&N finally got some copies in and I will be going there at lunch to pick up my copy.  I can't wait to dig in and get my first cab started!!

I'll post something in the project announcements forum as soon as I get started.

 ;D I've recieved my copie yesterday, ordered it by proxis.be, a belgian on-line store for books-music-... .
I think they work together with Amazon (not sure about that). So anaway, I live in Belgium and got the book. I 've taken a look at it and it looks pretty good. Nice job Saint!! ;) ;)
