Title: Muting videos in DK
Post by: Shieldwolf on April 29, 2004, 12:02:01 pm
Is there a way to mute video gameplay files through DK? If not how should I mute all gameplay files so I can hear my bg music and not the gameplay video

MAME has a -volume switch that sets the volume to a relative decibal. I wonder if you could put "-volume -40" as a commandline switch and have it work?

simply put, you don't..... all sounds in dk are controlled globally, so if you mute the video sounds then you mute all sounds

i can add it but in all honesty I've never heard of demand for it... most people enjoy the attract sounds :)

it would be really cool to have seperate volume controls or mutes.

I had to rewrite the video code to implement a new feature... I'll go ahead and put this in while I'm at it.
