I've gutted my old jamma cab (it housed a vertical monitor so it isn't that wide), and I want to put a 20-inch Hantarex POLO/2 in there. The monitor width, taken from the PDF at the hantarex website (http://www.hantarex.co.uk/pdf/POLOs.pdf (http://www.hantarex.co.uk/pdf/POLOs.pdf)) says that it is 508mm (including the metal surround it seems).
The inner width of my cab (i.e the max space for the monitor) is 510mm. This only just big enough, and I wondered if any of you might know if it would be possible to mount the monitor safely/securely in the cab (or if it's out of the question) with so little extra width to play with.
Could any of you offer any advice?
Thanks in advance!

Assuming 508mm is accurate for the monitors outer-most width, I think you should just about be OK.
I have a 21" Polo, and since I scratch-built my cab I allowed a bit more than 2mm clearance (!), but that said, the clearance was mainly there 'just to make sure', and to allow for a bit of a bezel.
Not really much help but here's a pic of how I mounted my screen:

You should be fine, I stuffed a 25" monitor in a Centipede cabinet and it JUST fit as well with very little clearance at all.
