Post by: dabone on April 24, 2004, 09:33:38 pm
I've got a 25" Smash TV Dedicated cab.
B- condition..

Looking for $425.00

I've got access to a loading dock and pallets.
But I prefer a local purchase or can deliver or meet up to 100 miles in any direction. (You pay gas and meal) :)

At auction it would likely fetch $275 to $500. Desirable enough to be worth something, but not common enough where there is a "going rate".

Nope never did get that thing working.
(Not common enough for good trouble shooting guides)

I've got a Smash TV, Super High Impact Football, Captain America and the avengers, Dragon Spirit, and an Empty cab (26") that I've just bought a Golden Tee 3D board off ebay to stick in it.

The Dragon Spirit has a jpac in it now with all the old vertical games.
I've still have to order a jstick plus for it (4/8 way switchable)

I got my old PSX cab back, (Converted ghostbusters cab., custom control panel (3 joysticks with 10 buttons each))

I'm really getting back into the hobby.

About 5 years ago, I had a guy in Chicago who was going to sell me a 25" dedicated Smash TV machine AND a Total Carnage JAMMA board set for $600.  Shipping costs were just too much and I had to pass.

Recently, I've seen 25" Smash TV units in good condition sell for $800 or more.  For some reason, there has been a lot more showing up on eBay lately.  Smash TV is my all time favorite arcade game.  Before I seriously considered MAME, I was in the market for a 25" Smash TV machine but never ended up getting one because the prices were so high, even on ones that were pretty beat up.

I was wondering if you could do me a favor.  I'm building a new control panel for my MAME cabinet.  I'm trying to get accurate measurements of the joystick spacing on a dedicated Smash TV control panel.  Can you tell me what the dimensions (center to center) are?
You may need to measure from the underside of the control panel to get an accurate center mark....

O<--P1-->O<--X-->O<--P2-->O

P1 = P2 = ?
X = ?

thanks

Does it have the [romsite name redacted] roms?

If so, would you sell the pcb separately (and ship to New Zealand)?]
