Hi all. I've attempted to trace these 3 images on my own and after a few days I was unsuccessful. Apparently I lack artistic talent. I would be greaty appreciative if someone could vector them for me.
They seem fairly simple compared to ones others have done. I'm making the color scheme for my cabinet match those of my alma mater, Virginia Tech.
The two pictures consisting of the Hokie Bird are straightforward. However, from the final picture (Titled Hokies Text) I only need the word Hokies without the ' (appostraphe).
Thank you all very much for your time and any help would be wonderful.

I forgot to add one more thing. I was working with frosty on my design when circumstances arose limiting the work he was able to do. Before stopping he was able to provide me with a stunning background to work with. (see below) I full intend to use this background for both my marquee and control panel however, I would hate to have this beautiful vectorization go to waste due to the fact that I am graphically challenged. I ask that someome take the above pictures and background ( i have it in ai form and can provide it) and help me create a marquee titled "Hokie Arcade" If the work is of high enough quality, I would be willing to pay. Thanks again and have a great week!
PS. Email me at naetharris@cox.ent for the adobe background or discuss the project with me.

that email should be naetharris@cox.net

Writing again to bump this up alittle before I finally give up. :-\

Do you have Illustrator? I'm pretty sure I could do those for you, but it'd take a bit. As far as the background and using it for the CP/marquee, that's a bit beyond my reach, but the other three pix, I think I can help ya.
If ya want, I can give ya the Tarheels mascot too! ;D :P
Lemme know. I'll need those pix, unless they are the same size as those posted above.
Go Heels!

I have a demo version of Illustrator that should be good for a few more weeks. As for creating the Marquee and CP, I think I can do that. The background image is already in .ai format. The pictures I have are the ones posted, I couldn't find anything larger. If you could vector those for me I'd be soooo appreciative.

Sorry I haven't replied...forgot to check back on this! I'll take those and see what I can do for you. BTW, how large are they going to be in the final result? Just so I can check it out as I go along.
*edit*
On the second picture, you just need the bird, not the silver background in that, right?
On the third picture, do you need the outline around the white Hokies?
-
You're correct. I don't need the silver around the bird however, on the third picture i would like to keep the border around the word hokies. Thanks!

Just dropping you a note to let you know what's up. I am working on the bird first. It's a bit harder that I was thinking, but it's mostly due to the image being a .gif and it gets jaggy as all get out when I enlarge it to the size I can see well to work on it. So far, it's seeming to not be as hard as I thought it would be, but I'm not done, yet! LOL
Another question....I've noticed the shadow on the white "Hokies". Did you want that it in there, and if so, what "shade"? Again, same thing, it gets real jagged, so I'm gonna have to pick ONE shade, and make the shadow that shade. If you want the shade, open it up in AI and eyedropper it and let me know the numbers of the shade you want.
On the bird, I've gone with the white border around the main image. If you only want the black border, let me know. I can take it off pretty easy.
If your Illustrator trial runs out, I've got a solution for you, but let me try to get it done first. I just picked up a bunch of stuff at the auction, so I'm thinking I might play around with it, but I'll try to keep myself on task and complete this for ya ;D

Thanks for the update man! I'll keep an eye out for some the work! The shadow would be nice, but not essential.

This thread should be considered closed. I have hired Pixelhugger for my art. Thanks all!

I read this after finishing the "Hokies" text for you......if you want it, lemme know. Mebbe Pixel can use it so you get done sooner.
