Title: This is how you crimp
Post by: Gideon on April 20, 2004, 09:20:42 pm
I don't often find articles like this one (http://www.marvin3m.com/connect/index.htm), so I thought I'd share.  I apologize if this is already common knowledge.  The section you might find most useful is the explanation on how to crimp (http://www.marvin3m.com/connect/index.htm#good).  Maybe this will up the quality of someone's cab.  If it does, then I'm glad that I posted.

That BCT-1 crimping tool that article shows rules. :D  I bought one from Mac Tools about 3 years ago for around 30 dollars.  One of the best electronic tool purchases I've ever made.

If you're using a lot of Molex connectors, they are a must have. :)
